Eddie D. Murphy is dual-degree in Television & Film Arts and Writing at Buffalo State University. The Television & Film Arts program being a selective program selecting only 15 students a year. 

Eddie grew up in the small town of Middleport, NY. He was very involved in his school's music and drama programs before turning his attention into screenwriting. At Buffalo State, Eddie made a number of award-winning short films which played at prestigious festivals across the U.S.
